Who am I
My name is Maciej Mitura, a 22-year-old Polish full-stack web developer with a passion for technology and creative problem-solving. My journey in development began in 2022 with game development studies at DAE, where I built a strong foundation in C++, algorithms, and game theory. Eager to broaden my horizons, I transitioned to Multimedia & Creative Technologies (MCT), and since then, I have been actively engaged in a variety of projects-both academic and personal.Driven by curiosity, I am always exploring new technologies and challenging myself to understand how things work and how they can be improved. I thrive on learning, whether it's mastering programming languages or discovering innovative solutions. In addition to my technical skills, I am fluent in Dutch, English, French, German, Russian, and Polish, and I enjoy connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. Honesty, punctuality, and a hunger for knowledge define my work ethic. I approach every project with enthusiasm and a touch of humor, maintaining a love-hate relationship with AI as I navigate the ever-evolving world of technology.
Tech
My passion for technology spans the entire spectrum—from low-level hardware tinkering to high-level software development. I'm fascinated by how systems work, how they interact, and how they can be improved or reimagined. Whether I'm writing code, building custom PC setups, exploring embedded systems, or experimenting with new frameworks, I'm driven by curiosity and a desire to understand and create. Technology isn't just a field I study—it's the lens through which I see challenges and opportunities to build smarter, better solutions. I love thinking outside the box when it comes to technology and its surrounding. Good example of this is when I've made my PSP run a Nintendo OS and bitshifted old pokemon games into gameboy OS emulator. With this double OS emulation and some bitshifting of files I've learned that with enough research and some dedication, you can make anything you want with the technology we've got.
Sport
Sport has shaped who I am far beyond physical fitness. From my early days in competitive swimming and team football to my current focus on MMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, running, and weight training, sports have taught me discipline, perseverance, and how to push through discomfort to achieve long-term goals. These values translate directly into how I approach challenges in life and work—whether it's debugging code, leading a project, or learning something completely new. I've included this section because I believe that sport builds not only stronger bodies, but stronger minds—resilient, focused, and constantly growing. It's a big part of what drives me every day, both personally and professionally.
